I am guilty of writing about my interests. But then again, isn’t that your dream job? To do what you love, promote the products, people and services that amuse you?

So, here is the afternoon topic: Christian Roth Eyewear. Before I became a muse and best friends with Christian Roth and Eric Domege, I knew their brand. My local luxury eyeglass shop’s social sales girl Debbie Lusky always swore by them, saying they made the best lenses. Then I met them, and a relationship of love naturally bloomed. Nearly five years later, spending time with Christian and Eric between Miami and Monaco, I could not be more proud to announce the launch of their latest project, a modern and sleek pop-up, e-commerce site filled with everything from vintage frames that are from their personal collection to their latest never seen before collections. Now you can find them all at Christian-Roth.com. Get a glimpse into their life, their muses and their philanthropic interests.

Nearly 30 years deep into their romance and business partnership, they have graced multiple magazine covers, globally. They have also designed and collaborated with Marc Jacobs, Jean Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld, Michael Kors, and beyond. Their lenses decorate the faces of Rihanna, Lenny Kravitz, the late Andy Warhol, artist Christopher Makos, Kate Moss, the late Princess Diana. I mean I could keep going, but my loves are quite low-profile so ill attempt to respect that. I actually think I kind of just disrespected that, but hey, I am so proud of them, I need to shout it!

Also, all over their site are various images of me. Eric photographed me in their studio’s bathroom. I made love to the mirror. That was simple. I was struggling a bit because every photo was SO beautiful, and they refused to provide me with images until the day the site went live.  I must say, I am very honored that they find me so fascinating, because to me, real friends are hard to find, and there is true love and amusement there.

I encourage you to keep up with their site, see what they have to say, and enjoy this modern form of commerce. Christian Roth will soon expand further within the USA, as they took a pseudo-sabbatical here and focused on other markets.

I have news for you, they are back and hotter than ever. This is fashion, this is classic, this is forever. As Christian says “one is never over dressed or under dressed with chic black shades.” Ain’t that the truth.
